Assessment & Advice for Infants, Children and Families
Nicole provides specialist nutritional & feeding assessment and advice for infants, children and families. Appointments are available at NEST Family Clinic (Elsternwick) or via Telehealth.
Services Provided
- Infant nutrition: introduction of solids, textures, self-feeding, fussy eating/feeding difficulties, growth, reflux, constipation, allergies (cows milk protein, soy, egg, nut, wheat, FPIES).
- Toddlers & Pre-schoolers: fussy eating/food refusal, growth, constipation, diarrhoea, iron deficiency, vegetarian/vegan diets.
- School-Aged Children: general nutrition, lunchboxes, vegetarian/vegan diets, growth, constipation, iron deficiency.
- Adolescents: general nutrition, vegetarian/vegan diets, iron deficiency, growth.
- Women: fertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding nutrition, post-natal depletion, nutrient deficiencies (e.g. iron/B12).
- Families: meal planning to suit the specific needs of your family.
What to Bring?
- Referral letter (from GP, Paediatrician, Maternal Child Health Nurse, Speech Pathologist etc). *A referral is not essential* (unless you have a care plan).
- Your child’s Health & Development Record (green book) or growth charts.
- Any relevant blood tests or medical reports.
Fees & Rebates

Medicare: If your child has a chronic health condition (e.g. food allergy, developmental delay, gastrointestinal conditions), you may be eligible for a Team Care Arrangement (TCA) plan through your GP used for up to 5 Allied Health visits per calendar year. Please speak to your GP to assess your eligibility. The current rebate is $60.35 per visit.
Private Health Insurance: If you have private health extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate. Item codes: 500 (Initial) and 600 (Review).
